1888 The company was formed out of fifteen firms[1]
1894 The company was registered on 17 July, in reconstruction of a company of similar title, to take over the businesses of several firms in Birmingham, London and Scotland, of coffin furniture manufacturers. [2]
1928 600 were employed by this, the largest firm in the trade
1972 Acquired Griffiths Bentley (Engineers) including Carbjectors and MP Engineering, manufacturers of components for the motor and central heating industries[3]
1972 Name changed to Ingall Industries; also acquired Warrington Timber Co[4]
1982 Ingall, Parsons, Clive and Co applied to wind up Ingall Industries plc[6]
