International Nickel Co (Mond), nickel refiners, of Thames House, Millbank, London and Clydach, Glamorgan
1961 Mond Nickel Co changed its name to International Nickel Company (Mond) Ltd[1], reflecting its affiliation with the International Nickel Company of Canada.
1962 High strength Maraging steels suitable for aerospace applications announced; up to 25% nickel content helped avoid brittleness[2].
1963 Motor Show exhibitor. Chrome plating.[3]
1965 The name of International Nickel Co (Mond) Ltd was changed to International Nickel Ltd to reflect its links with this parent company, the International Nickel Company of Canada[4]
1972 Substantial reduction in nickel pollution of farm near to the South Wales smelter after several decades of process improvement and clean-up[5].
