c.1849 Born in Salmsbury, son of Isaack Briggs, railway contractor[1]

1891 Isaac Briggs 42 , worsted manufacturer, employer, lived in Wakefield with Sarah Elizabeth Briggs 41, Barbara Briggs 3[2]

1911 Isaac Briggs 62, widowed, hosiery manufacturer, lived in Wakefield with Barbara Briggs 23[3]

Exhibited his collection of early railway prints and other items at the Inst of Civil Engineers, later presented to the Science Museum.

1927 Died in Wakefield[4]
