1853 Patent by Isaiah Kendrick, Foreman to Messrs Horton and Son, of Southwark, in the county of Surrey, in respect of the invention of " improvements in steam-boilers."[1]

1860 Dissolution of Horton, Son and Kendrick

1865 Dissolution of Horton, Whitehouse and Kendrick

1867 Patent by Isaiah Kendrick, of Walworth, in the county of Surrey, Steam Boiler Manufacturer, in respect of the invention of "improvements in furnaces and in the manufacture of fire bars for the same."[2]

1877 Bankrupt: of the Atlas Boiler Works, Victory-place, Rodney-road, Walworth, in the county of Surrey, Steam Boiler Manufacturer, and of the Whitehall Colliery, Greet's Green, West Bromwich, in the county of Stafford, Colliery Proprietor and Coal Merchant.[3]

1881 Isaiah Kendrick 64, boiler maker, lived in Camberwell with Elizabeth Kendrick 48, Walker Kendrick 22[4]

1860 Petition of Isaiah Kendrick, at present and for ten months and two weeks last past residing at No. 235, Stafford-street, Walsall, in the county of Stafford, and carrying on business as a Scrap Iron Dealer, for twelve months previous thereto residing at No. 235, Stafford-street, Walsall aforesaid, and carrying on business as a Scrap Iron Dealer, and for ten weeks previous thereto residing in Stafford-street, Walsall aforesaid, and carrying on business as a Scrap Iron Dealer[5]

1867 Bankrupt: Isaiah Kendrick, residing and carrying on business at Green-lane, Walsall, in the county of Stafford, Iron Dealer and Broker, and carrying on business at No. 2, Bruce-road, Bromley-by-Bow, in the county of Middlesex, as Iron Dealer, adjudicated bankrupt on the 1st day of June, 1867. An Order of Discharge was granted by the County Court of Staffordshire, holden at Walsall, on the 30th day of October, 1867.[6]

1881 Isaiah Kendrick 46, scrap iron dealer, lived in Walsall with Sarah Kendrick 46, and his brother David G. Kendrick 15[7]
