Ivor Dewdney Pasties and Pies of Cornwall St., Plymouth.
1926 Founded by Ivor George Cann Dewdney of Stoke, Plymouth. He had started making his own pasties from his mother's kitchen, but after having moved to London to gain wholesale experience, opened his own bakery in Plympton St Maurice with a couple of members of staff.
1939 Opened a shop in King Street, Plymouth on May 23rd 1939.
1957 After the war, Ivor built a shop at 99 Cornwall Street, and the business was moved there.
2014 Ron Dewdney Ltd. the famed rival business owned by Ivor's brother Ron was acquired.
