1883 'SUDDEN DEATH.- With deep regret a large number of our readers will learn on Monday morning a telegram was received to the effect that Mr. John Balls, machinist, of Bryanstone, died suddenly at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, on the previous evening. Mr. Balls, who has lived at Bryanstone 35 years, was universally respected, and by none more than the men in his employ. He was 65 years of age.'[2]
