Whisky distillers, Glen Garioch Distillery, Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire

1884 The Glen Garioch Distillery of John Manson and Co was disposed of to Mr. R. H. Thomson, wine merchant, Leith, with the business to be run by his son, Mr. J. F. Thomson under the firm name of J. F. Thomson and Co, distillers, Oldmeldrum.[1]

1908 J. F. Thomson and Company Limited was incorporated, with capital of £30,000, to purchase and carry on the business of the Glen Garioch Distillery.[2]

1921 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[3]
