1896. Partnership change. '...the Partnership lately subsisting bet ween us the undersigned Jared King, Joseph Jefferson, Lazarus Jefferson and Mordecai Jefferson as Woolcombers and Topmakers at Bradford in the county of York under the style or firm of J. King and Co. was on the 30th day of October instant dissolved by mutual consent to far as regards the said Jarad King who on that day retired from the partnership business, and that all debts due and owing to or by the said firm will be received and paid by the said Joseph Jefferson, Lazarus Jefferson and Mordecai Jefferson who will continue to carry on the said business on their own account after the style of the Brownroyd Combing Company...'[1]
