1851 'We noticed the scientific work of Mr. Adorno, a Mexican gentleman, not long resident in England'[1]Possibly the same gentleman.
1853 Patent 1108. And Juan Nepomuceno Adorno, of Golden-square, in the county of Middlesex, Gentleman, has given the like notice in respect of the invention of "improvements in the manufacture of cigars, cigarettes, and other similar articles."[2]
