J. S. Dawson

From Graces Guide

of Hope Foundry, Lancaster Road, Preston

1845 Advert: 'NEW IRON FOUNDRY. &C. J. S. DAWSON, Machinist, and Iron and Brass Founder, in returning thanks for the liberal support he has experienced, takes the opportunity of announcing that he intends connecting the business of Iron Founder and Machinist, with his previous one of Brass Founder, &c., in new and commodious premises, in Lancaster-road, and hopes, by attention and punctuality, combined with reasonable terms, to deserve a continuance of the kind patronage with which he has been favoured. Hope Foundry, Lancaster-road.'[1]

Was this the Hope Foundry which was later occupied by John Ogle, Son and Co and later by Foster Brothers and Co?
