Sir Joseph Thomas Firbank (1851-1910)
Born at Market Harborough the son of Joseph Firbank
Educated Cheltenham College.
In partnership with his father, but left railway contracting on death of his father and was MP for Hull East between 1885 and 1906.
He was knighted in 1902
Sir Joseph Thomas Firbank held the office of High Sheriff of Monmouth in 1891. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kingston-upon-Hull East from 1895 to 1906. He lived at St. Julian's, Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales
