1871 Living at 10 Paradise Street, Bath (age 29 born Zeals, Wiltshire), Engine Fitter. With wife Harriett (age 30 born Devon) and children John (age 6), William (age 4) and Herbert (age 2). [1]

1877 Listed as an engineer living at 17 St. John's Wood, Bath [2]

1878 New Patents: Joseph Day, Hampstead, and John W. Lampard, Bath, improvements in machinery for mixing concrete. Dated February 1878.[3]

1881 Advert: 'WANTED, APPRENTICE to ENGINEERING.— Apply J. W. Lampard, City Engineering Works, Upper Bristol Road.'[4]. Same Lampard?
