1857 Factory built at Kingfield, Coventry.
1857 Houses with steam-power built at Coventry. [1]
1860 Company began to manufacture narrow frillings and woven labels for clothes manufacturers.
1870s Woven name tape produced using Jacquard looms.
1956/1961 - J. and J. Cash Ltd., Share Acquisitions of narrow fabric weaving companies in Coventry:[2]
- W. H. Grant and Co Ltd., share transfer:-13th March 1961.
- B. Laird and Co Ltd., share transfer:-1st March 1959.
1976 Company becomes part of Jones Stroud.
1984 Company moves to Torrington Avenue, Coventry. [2]
1999 Management Buyout, Company becomes part of Composite Materials Technology plc (CMT).[2]
2014 January. Company goes into administration.[2]
2014 February. Management Buyout, Company becomes Cash’s Apparel Solutions (UK) Limited, backed by Hong Kong-based 'The Jointak Group', previously a key supplier to Cash’s.[2]
2008 Company still in operation in Coventry.
