Jackson, Garbutt, and Trowsdale
1848 "NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership lately subsisting between us the undersigned, James Smith, of Stockton, in the county of Durham, Builder and Contractor, James Trowsdale, of the same place, Builder and Contractor, Thomas Corlett Jackson, of the same place, Commission Agent, and Thomas Garbutt the younger, also of the same place, Commission Agent for executing certain parts of the Works of the Leeds and Thirsk Railway Company, called the Yarm Contract, was, on the 6th day of December instant, dissolved, by mutual consent, so far as related to and concerned the said James Smith; and that all debts due to and owing from the said late partnership will be received and paid by the said James Trowsdale, Thomas Corlett Jackson, and Thomas Garbutt, by whom the said Works will henceforth be carried into effect:"

1854 "NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between us the undersigned, James Trowsdale,
of Stockton, in the county of Durham, Thomas Corlett Jackson, of the same place, and Thomas Garbutt the younger, also of the same place, as Railway Contractors,
in Stockton, aforesaid, under the firm of James Trowsdale and Company, has been this day, so far as regards the said Thomas Garbutt the younger, dissolved by mutual consent;
and that all debts due to and owing from the said firm, will be received and paid by the said James Trowsdale and Thomas Corlett Jackson. — Dated this 12th day of August, 1854"
