Training: North Eastern Marine Engine Co., Wallsend. Career: Served time as Engr. and Draughtsman with the North Eastern Mar. Eng. Co., Wallsend-on-Tyne; then with Hawthorn, Leslie and Co.; at sea as 3rd and 2nd Engr.; Manager of Brass Foundry of Henry Watson and Sons, Ltd., Walkergate-on-Tyne; and on Board of Directors, 1900-19; now as above.
