Born at Odessa, Ukraine, the son of Monashe Millhoff

1911 Living at The Briery, 44 Cambridge Road, Bromley, Kent: Jacob Millhoff (age 51 born Russia), Tobacco Manufacturer, Company Director. With his wife Mary Ann, three daughters and a grandson.[1]

1925 Died. 'The death has taken place at Brighton of Mr. J. Millhoff, the founder of the De Reszke cigarette firm. Mr. Millhoff began in a small way, and succeeded so well that he was reputed to be a millionaire. He, however, continued to live in an unpretentious villa in Willesden-lane, London. His cigarettes were manufactured at a large factory in Myrtle-road, E. His West End shop is opposite the Green Park among the clubs.'[2]
