1920 The name of Dr. Jaeger's Sanitary Woollen System Co. Ltd was changed to the Jaeger Company

1947 Jaeger Co was registered as a private company to take over that part of Jaeger Holdings that consists of the business of wholesalers of woollen and silk and other underclothing[1]

1961 Issue of shares in Jaeger Holdings to the public[2]. The Jaeger Company was responsible for retailing of the parent company's products and products from other companies. It operated 25 shops as well as 19 shops-in-stores.

1967 Jaeger Holdings was acquired by the Coats textile group.

2003 Coats sold the Jaeger brand name and the Jaeger retail chain[3]
