1904 Late of the Bengal and North-Western Railway is appointed Chief Engineer of the Kalka-Simla Railway in succession to H. S. Harington who has been there for five year.[1]

1918 Died at Bridgend, Kilwinning, James A. Kelly age 69, retired engineer.[2]
