1939 James Bowen and Sons Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £10,000, to acquire the existing business of motor engineers and to carry on business as general, motor, marine and aeronautical engineers.[1]

1961 Constructional equipment, vehicle and agricultural engineers. 250 employees [2]

2022 James Bowen remains an active company.[3]
