1894 Incorporated as a Limited Company

1898 Business reconstructed

1914 110 Licensed Houses, 4 Hotels, 3 Mineral Water Factories, and one Brewery.

1956 Acquired by Newcastle Breweries who closed the Lochside Brewery in Montrose and replaced its products with those from the Tyne Brewery in Newcastle and the Duddingston Brewery in Edinburgh[1]
