1851 Living at 55 City Road, Derby: James Fox (age 61 born Tatenhill, Staffs), Engineers firm of two employing 15 men - Unmarried. With his sister Elizabeth Fox (age 59 born Derby) and his two brothers; Thomas Fox (age 56 born Derby), Annuitant - Unmarried; and John Fox (age 51 Born Derby), Annuitant - Unmarried. Two servants. 1857 Retired from the partnership

1859 March 25th. Died aged 68 at his residence in City Road. [2]
