James Hoyle Britten (1902-1934)


1934/35 Obituary [1]

James Hoyle Britten was born in 1902, and received his theoretical training at Salford Royal Technical College.

He served his apprenticeship at the Belsize Motor Works, Manchester, and on its completion joined the firm of C. A. Britten and Co. as junior technical salesman, and subsequently in charge of the repair shop.

He died on 27th August, 1934, at the age of 32.

He was elected a Post-Graduate of the Institution in 1930.
