James Kynvyn or Kynfin.

Instrument maker based near St. Paul's Cathedral, and active between 1569 and 1610. Instruments included graphometers, compasses, and quadrants. The Museo Galileo (Florence) has four of his instruments[1], while the British Museum and the Museum of the History of Science in Oxford each have one instrument[2]
