1914 Obituary [1]

JAMES MELVILLE ROBERTSON, born on the 11th February, 1886, met his death as the result of an accident in Canada on the 14th September, 1913.

Trained in Glasgow as a pupil of Messrs. Wharrie and Colledge, civil engineers, he afterwards went out to Canada, where he obtained employment on railways under construction. At he date of his untimely death he held the post of resident, engineer on the construction of the Alberta Central Railway.

Mr. Robertson was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 6th February, 1912.
