1942 Died. 'Mr James Mitchell Wilkie, civil engineer, whose death at Inverness is reported, was well known in engineering circles, and had carried out important contracts in the North and North-East. He was with the firm of Wm. Tawse Ltd, public work contractors, Aberdeen. Mr Wilkie, who was 45 years of age, leaves wife and family.'[1]
