1910 James Neil and Sons Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £11,000, to acquire and carry on the business of furnace engineers and iron founders at the Grange Foundry, Shettleston, Glasgow.[1]

1912 In July the company went into voluntary liquidation.[2] Plant and machinery from the works was put up for auction the following year.[3]
