1848 Married at Brighton to Anne Beale

1871 Residing at 25 Brunswick Place, Hove: James Nichols (age 55 born Woodstock), merchant, landowner. With his wife Anne and two daughters.[1]

1873 Died in a hunting accident at Brighton. Late of Lowndes Terrace, Knightsbridge, a draper. Probate to his relict Ann Nichols of 10, The Boltons, South Kensington, and to Joseph Watson and James Carruthers both of Lowndes terrace, Drapers.
