1799 May 13th. Born in Crowan, Cornwall, the son of Francis Pool and his wife Alice Symons

1825 Married (1) at Manaccan to Mary Glasson (1800-1844) and they had three sons and three daughters

1845 Married (2) at Manaccan to Ursula Kempthorne and had one child who died as an infant

1851 Living at Copper House West, Cornwall: James Pool (age 51 born Crowan), Plumber. With his wife Ura Pool (age 46 born Manaccan) and their three sons; James Pool (age 18 born Crowan), Plumber; Fredrick Pool (age 16 born Crowan); Plumber; and Joseph Pool (age 13 born Crowan), Plumber;.
