1910 Obituary [1]

JAMES SIBBALD, born near Dundee on the 24th September, 1853, died there on the 9th February, 1910.

On completing an apprenticeship to Mr. Robert Blackadder, of Dundee, he joined the staff of the City Architect, eventually becoming Chief Assistant.

For the last 15 years of his life, he was engaged as a consulting engineer and architect, and acquired an extensive local practice.

Mr. Sibbald was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 4th December, 1894.
