1861 Living at 30 Watery Lane, Aston (age 32 born Bristol), a Commercial Traveller in Metals. With his wife Harriet (age 36 born Birmingham) and their children Annie (age 9 born Bristol), George C. (age 7 born Birmingham) and Louisa H. (age 5 born Birmingham). [3]

1871 Living at 271 Watery Lane, Aston (age 42 born Bristol), a Machine Screw Maker. With his wife Harriet M. (age 43 born Birmingham) and their children Louisa (age 15 born Birmingham) and George C. (age 18 (born Birmingham). [4]

1880 Q2. James died at Aston age 51 and his wife continued with the business which in 1907 was bought by Warne, Wright and Rowland
