Jane's Fighting Ships

1898 Fred T. Jane first published "Jane's All the World's Fighting Ships", to assist naval officers and the general public; it became an annual reference book of information on all the world's warships.

1905 Adopted the title "Jane's Fighting Ships"

Its success led to the launch of a number of other military publications carrying the name "Jane's".

1909 Fred Jane first produced "Jane's All the World's Aircraft" as an annual publication.

Other annual publications of Jane's Publishing Co included "Jane's Military Communications", "Jane's World Air Forces", "Jane's World Navies", and "Jane's World Railways". Periodical publications include Jane's Defence Weekly, Jane's Intelligence Review, Jane's International Defence Review, and Jane's Navy International.
