1879 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, John Jardine and William Hooton, trading at Raleigh-street, in the town of Nottingham, and elsewhere, as Machinists, under the style or firm of Jardine and Hooton, is this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to and owing by the said partnership will be received and paid by the said John Jardine, by whom alone the business will in future be carried on...'[1]
