1898 The company was registered on 9 February, to acquire the business of steel manufacturers of the firm of the same name. [1]

1914 Steel manufacturers. Specialities: high-speed tool steel, mining steel, mining tools; shear, blister and spring steel; steel for rifles, swords, shot and shell; motor, carriage and cart springs. [2]

1922 Directors: J. L. Potts (Chairman and Mang.), J. H. Cocksedge H. A. Potts, T. P. Chatwin and A. W. Shepherd. Products: High-speed steel, tool steel, alloy steel mining steel, hammers, chisels, twist drills, steel wire rods, motor, carriage and cart springs.

1929 The company was reconstituted as Andrews Toledo of the same address[3]
