1906 Patent. 'Joseph Dugdale, junior, John Aspden Ormerod, and John Wright, improvements in connection with frames for winding yarn and thread'.[1]

1911 Living at North Bank, Wellington Street, Blackburn: John Aspden Ormerod (age 47 born Blackburn), Cotton Mill Director and Manager. With his wife Catherine, three daughters and son and other family members.[2]
