John Barker (Finland)

From Graces Guide

1842 John Barker obtained a licence to establish to establish a cotton mill in Abo, Finland. This opened in 1845. Barker had previously been employed by James Finlayson at Finlayson and Co of Tammerfors

1851 Barker sold half the mill to Lars Evert Stigzelius, and the firm became John Barker and Co.

1854 John Barker died.

1922 The business was trading as John Barker Ltd.
