'...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Adolf Kottgen, Walther Kottgen, Gustav Adolph Kottgen, and Richard Hobbs, under the firm of John Batt and Co., of No. 39, Old Broad-street, in the city of London, Merchants, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent; and that all moneys due to the said firm will be received by the undersigned, Walther Kottgen and Gustav Adolph Kottgen, by whom the business will be continued under the said firm of John Batt and Co...'[1]
1887 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between Walther Kottgen, Gustav Adolph Kottgen, and Fritz Beyer, carrying on business as General Merchants, at 39, Old Broad-street, in the city of London, under the style or firm of John Batt and Co., has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as from the 31st day of December, 1886, from which date the said Walther Kottgen retires, from the firm. The business will, as from the said 31st day of December, 1886, be carried on at the same address and under the same style by the said Gustav Adolph Kottgen and Fritz Beyer...'[2]
