1852 The business was established.

1905 John Broadfoot and Sons Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £60,000, to take over and carry on the business of John Broadfoot and Sons, engineers and brassfounders, Inchholm Works, Whiteinch, Glasgow.[1]

1983 The firm went into voluntary liquidation, by which time it was a non-trading company.[2]
