1851 Born the son of Alexander Cuninghame

1866 Succeeded his father as Laird of Craigends

1901 Married Alison Pearson (b.1871)

1915 By now he was the ageing chairman of Glengarnock; he did not feel up to restarting the plant for war demands, so by arrangement with the Ministry of Munitions the works were leased to David Colville and Sons.

1917 Died in London.
