1888 Started work for the Great Western Railway in Neath[2]

1911 Became divisional engineer at Neath

1911 John Christian Lloyd 43, civil engineer, lived in Swansea with Agnes Eleanor Lloyd, 45, Ewan Christian Lloyd 13[3]

1920 Assistant chief engineer, Great Western Railway company, living in Reading when he joined the Inst Civil Engineers

1924 Held the position of chief engineer jointly with William Waddell

1929 Died
