P Series

Side-valve four-stroke petrol engine designed by Arthur Freeman-Sanders with the swirl combustion chamber. the PA range came in three basic models, low-speed 750 rpm (1.5 hp), medium-speed 1,000 rpm (2.25 hp) and high-speed at 1,500 rpm (3.75 hp).

Later models were the 1PB (single) and 2PB (twin) models available in the three speed types.

The PD model had low (2.5 hp) and medium (3.25 hp) speeds and just 1,000 were built.

The 1PC (single at 6hp and 8 hp) and 2PC (twin at 12 hp and 16 hp) models were made in low and medium speeds giving the two power outputs.

Four models of diesel engines were made and named A, B, C and D.

Later diesels were 1D and 2D and with low, medium and high speeds.
