ARTHUR FRANCIS EVES, M.A., M.A.I. (DUM.), born on the 20th May, 1876, died at Cawnpore, India, on the 25th October, 1913.

On leaving Trinity College, Dublin, he served a pupilage to Messrs. Fisher and Le Fanu, Belfast, and to Messrs. Dick, Kerr and Company, London, for whom he subsequently acted as engineer on several tramway contracts.

In 1906 he obtained an appointment with the East Indian Railway Company, which he retained until his death.

Mr. Eves was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 7th April, 1903.
