'...Use Partnership herebefore subsisting-between us the undersigned, John Frederick William Hempel, of Oranienburg, in the kingdom of Prussia, and Henry Blundell, of Hull, in the county of York, in England, under an agreement, dated 23d February 1836, for an improved method of operating upon certain animal and vegetable substances in tlje process of manufacturing candles therefrom, was this day dissolved by mutual consent...'[1]
