1828 Listed as a manufacturer of every description of turning lathes, press screws, presses, &c., crimping and giffering machines, and smith & engine work in general, Mill-sands[1]

1840 Deaths: 'On Monday, after a long illness, highly respected, Mr. John Gallimore, aged 73, formerly of the firm of Messrs. John and Josiah Gallimore, screw manufacturers, &c, in Bridge street. He was well known in this and the neighbouring counties, as a clever, ingenious mechanic.'[2]
