John Hare (1753-1839) was a British manufacturer who founded the floorcloth and paint manufacturers John Hare and Co of Bristol

1753 Born in Taunton, Somerset.[1]

1782 John Hare and Co established in Bristol.[2]

1786 Birth of son John Hare.

1788 Birth of son Charles Hare.

1830 Funded the building of Zion Congregational Chapel, Bedminster, Bristol.[3]

1839 Died in Bristol.
