1919 May. Mr John Harper Bean and the works manager of A. Harper, Sons and Bean visited the USA to investigate mass production techniques[4].
1919 Director of Harper Bean and Managing Director of A. Harper, Sons and Bean. Of Tonsley Hill House, Dudley.[5]
1920 September. The board of Harper Bean were told that the "Bean" car was being sold at a loss, in contrast to the previous impression given. Mr Harper Bean resigned as managing director[6].
