1851 Residing at Bootle Village: John Hignett (age 52 born Tavern, Cheshire), Snuff manufacturer. with his wife Hannah (age 47) and son Samuel Hignett (age 18 born Liverpool), Book-Keeper. Also daughter hannah.[1]

1853 October 25th. Died at his residence Merton Road, Bootle, age 53.[2]
