1914 Died. 'Mt. John Hogg, late of 33 Wellington Park, Belfast, and of Academy Street, Belfast, chairman of Messrs John Hogg and Co., Ltd., of Belfast, flax merchants, and a director of the Brookfield Linen Co., Ltd.; formerly connected with, the well-known firm of Messrs. Dunbar, M'Master, and Co., Ltd., flax spinners; one of the founders of the Ulster Reform Club, a director of the Ulster Weaving Co., Ltd., and other concerns, and one of the largest guarantors of the Ulster Volunteer Fund, who died in a tramcar on his way to business on 30th October last, aged 71 years...'
