'... for adjudication of Bankruptcy, bearing date the 19th day of May, 1856, hath been filed against John Howard Blackwell, of Smethwick, in the county of Stafford, and George Bennet, of Wombourn, in the same county, trading in partnership as Ironmasters, at Smethwick aforesaid, under the firm of John Howard Blackwell and Co., and the said George Bennet having also formerly traded as an Ironmaster, at Kingswinford, in the same county, and they being declared bankrupts...'[1]
