John King (1872-1952)

1872 October 23rd. Born at Horbury, near Wakefield, the son of John King and Barbara Reid.
1891 He was an assistant in his father’s enamel goods manufacturing business in Shipley, Yorkshire.[1]
1901 Living at 8, Church Avenue, Seedly, Salford. He was a Foreman Porcelain Enameller.[2]
1908 Living at Holmside, Walton New Road, Walton Inferior. John was a manager at the Richmond Gas Stove Co in Warrington.[3]
1918 They lived near James Watt Cooke who persuaded him to join Cooke, Edwin Percy Taudevin and Walter Gregson to form King, Taudevin and Gregson
1929 Formed John King and Son (Enamellers)
