'...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, John Libby and Hugh Pearce, as Cloth Factors and General Woollen Warehousemen, at Stroud, in the county of Gloucester, under the style or firm of Libby and Pearce, and as Cloth Manufacturers, at New Mills, near Stroud aforesaid, under the style or firm of John Libby and Company, have been, as from the 30th day of June, 1869, duly dissolved; and that all debts due to and owing by the said late partnership will be received and paid by the undersigned John Libby, of Stroud aforesaid...'[1]
